Buckskin Tennessee Walking Horses

Solid buckskin Tennessee Walking Horse, with no white. He is by The Buck Starts Here, out of Papa's Cutie, and is a delightful colt. As you can see he can get that head in the air and flat walk beside his mother. Dude really moves right and will be 15.1 or 2 hands when he is grown. Just the right size for a good trail riding horse. Buck's Delightful Dude is that rare individual who has a double agouti gene. He will make a great breeding stallion. Foaled 5/8/2010.

Congratulations go to Shawna Holland of Vilna, AB Canada on the purchase of Buck's Delightful Dude. He will join several of his brothers and sisters in Canada.

Hi, so nice to hear from you.  All is good here.  Colder winter then last and more snow, but we will survive. LOL  I rode alot last winter but not at all yet this one.  Carson is great!  After doing all his ground work here, I sent him out to a walker trainer who put three months on him.  Just gentle riding because he was young and worked on manners and stud behavior to make sure he knows how to be.  He lives with two big size geldings and two mini geldings and they have a lot of fun.   It will be interesting to see how everything goes this year if I breed him.  My plan was to wait until 4 yrs old but I think it would be ok this summer.  As long as he is coming along good with his riding and he has a nice mind on him.  I have girls coming from overseas that stay for room and board and will be here riding everyday and putting hours and miles on the horses.  They stay anywhere from 2 months to 6 months.  Very talented riders that aren't afraid to ride the younger ones.  I will, but not to far from home. LOL  I have had a few people ask me about breeding their mares to him, but he is for my girls for a few years to see what we get.  I don't feel like sharing yet. LOL
We have 7 mares now, so just have to decide who goes first. LOL
Thank you so much for keeping in touch, I will send some better pictures when I get a website going this year.
Take care and hope the weather warms up!
